For its second edition, the Church's Club celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Shannon Derby with an exclusive event at The Twenty Two, a storied Edwardian manor on Grosvenor Square in London. International guests and talents enjoyed a vinyl DJ set, shoemaking demonstrations, and a fine dinner. They also had the opportunity to preview the re-edition of the iconic 1974 lace-up—presented in a campaign with Brand Ambassador Harry Lawtey.
Crafted using Church's 224 last and showcased in black or brown binder leather, the design joins the Shannon lineup, bringing back the original silhouette from the year of its conception. An integral part of the brand's history for half a century, this timeless and versatile style stands as a true example of artisanal mastery, thanks to its sleek silhouette, exquisite leather, and whole-cut construction, which involves a single piece of calfskin resulting in a smooth and glossy surface.
